CooperVision are a large employer locally and as part of their commitment to the community, they have installed an automatic external defibrillator (AED) for public use. This is placed on their security hut in Ensign Way; opposite the Flying Boat Café. The cabinet is locked for security, but should you ever have to use it you can call 999, or ask CooperVision Security and they will give you the access code. The AED can also be located using the NHS “Save a Life” app for Android or Apple. This public defibrillator has both adult and child pads in the cabinet.
