It’s an election year, and in May 2024 local elections are taking place to decide who will sit on the Parish Council for the next 4 years.

🔹What’s involved in being a Parish Councillor?

If you have some time to spare (typically around 4 – 10 hours per month) and would like to contribute to the decisions made by the Council on behalf of Hamble residents, why not consider running? Seeing your community change for the better because of decisions you have helped to make will give you a sense of achievement and pride.

🔹How can you put yourself forward for election?

We’ll be providing further details on how to put yourself forward for election over the next few weeks, but if you have any queries in the meantime, please contact Helen the Clerk, email clerk@hambleparishcouncil.gov.uk.

🔹How does the Council work in practice?

We’d encourage interested candidates to attend our next Full Council meeting on Monday 8 April 2024 (7pm at Roy Underdown Pavilion). You can learn more about the types decisions the Parish
Council takes and how the decision-making process.
